Our Mission and Vision for the Church

We are a “Christ-centered family church” with a desire “to connect people on their faith journey so that life in Christ flourishes”. We are part of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a Protestant denomination, tied to the Swedish reformed movement. We look to respect our past, enjoy our present and anticipate our future as a place to introduce people to, worship and develop a living relationship with God and Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

The Evangelical Covenant Church (covchurch.org) seeks to form and nurture God’s people into a deeply committed relationship with Jesus Christ. Our essential beliefs are set forth in the Affirmations – ECC | Who We Are (covchurch.org):

  • We affirm the centrality of the word of God.
  • We affirm the necessity of the new birth.
  • We affirm a commitment to the whole mission of the church.
  • We affirm the church as a fellowship of believers.
  • We affirm a conscious dependence on the Holy Spirit.
  • We affirm the reality of freedom in Christ.
